The amber glass gives the room such a warm, mellow tone

I bought this for the breakfast area because I wanted something softer than clear glass. The rounded amber shade adds colour without feeling loud, and the whole corner feels much cosier after sunset.

It does not fight the rest of the room

This is probably my favourite thing about it. The pendant has enough colour and shape to be interesting, but it still sits comfortably alongside artwork, plants and patterned textiles without making the space feel busy.

That low rounded shape is what makes it special

I had seen plenty of globe pendants, but this flatter silhouette feels much more relaxed and distinctive. It sits beautifully above our small dining table and does not dominate the room.

The wood detail works brilliantly with the amber shade

The little darker element above the glass gives the pendant a warmer, more natural look. We have walnut chairs nearby and the two materials sit together beautifully.

Much nicer at dusk than I expected

During the day the shade has a rich honey colour, but in the evening it really comes alive. The light through the amber glass feels gentle and atmospheric rather than bright and exposed.

A lovely retro touch for a modern kitchen

I wanted one vintage-inspired element in an otherwise very simple kitchen, and this was enough. The amber glass has personality, but the uncomplicated shape keeps everything feeling current.

Three of these look fantastic over an island

We spaced them evenly above the worktop and the repeated rounded shapes give the kitchen a really polished rhythm. The amber colour also warms up all the pale cabinetry around them.

The glass has a lovely depth of colour

I was expecting a fairly uniform amber shade, but there are subtle differences depending on how the light hits the curves. It gives the pendant a richer, more substantial appearance in person.

Exactly right over our little round table

The proportions feel almost tailor-made for a smaller dining area. It creates a clear focal point without hanging like a large heavy object in the middle of the room.

There is something very seventies about it, in a good way

The amber glass and rounded profile have that unmistakable retro warmth, but the clean suspension stops it feeling like a reproduction piece. It works surprisingly well in our contemporary flat.

The shade looks decorative even in daylight

Sunlight coming through the room catches the amber glass and gives it a lovely glow before the lamp is even switched on. It has become a proper feature rather than just a source of light.

A softer alternative to smoked glass

I nearly went for a darker grey pendant, but I am glad I chose amber instead. It still has plenty of depth, but the colour makes the dining space feel warmer and far more welcoming.

The glass does show the odd mark after handling

We gave the shade a quick polish once it was installed because fingerprints were noticeable on the glossy surface. That is a very minor point though; once clean, the amber glass looks absolutely gorgeous.
