The walnut finish was exactly right

I went for the darker walnut version and it suits our dining room beautifully. The layered wooden discs give the pendant a strong silhouette, while the deep tone adds warmth without making the space feel heavy.

Much softer than a metal pendant

We have quite a lot of hard surfaces in the kitchen, so introducing wood overhead made a noticeable difference. The lighter finish keeps things airy and works especially well with pale cabinetry.

The layered shape is what makes it

The different levels give this pendant far more depth than a simple flat shade. From the side it looks sculptural, and from below the warm centre creates a completely different effect.

Hardest part was choosing the colour

Both finishes looked good, but we eventually chose the natural wood option for a softer look. It has blended in beautifully with our oak table and made the room feel much more cohesive.

A lovely mid-century feel

There is something subtly retro about the stacked circular form, which works brilliantly with our vintage chairs and simple sideboard. It adds character without turning the room into a themed interior.

Dark wood gives it real presence

The walnut tone was a good choice for our lighter room because it creates a clear focal point above the table. Despite the darker colour, the open layered construction stops it feeling bulky.

Looks surprisingly different from every angle

I hadn’t expected such a simple pendant to have so much visual interest. As you move around the room, the overlapping discs line up differently and give the fitting a lovely sense of depth.

Natural wood made the room feel warmer

This was fitted in our breakfast area, which previously felt a little stark. The lighter timber brought warmth straight away and works nicely with cream walls and woven chairs.

A very relaxed design

What I like most is that it doesn’t feel overly formal or polished. The wood grain and rounded layers give it a casual, natural character that makes the dining area feel more inviting.

Beautiful above a small round table

The shape mirrors our table nicely and makes the corner feel much more intentional. I also like that the light sits underneath the layered shades rather than dominating the whole design.

Walnut works brilliantly with pale walls

We chose the darker version specifically for contrast, and it has worked even better than expected. Against warm white walls the layered profile really stands out and gives the room more definition.

Lovely design, though I changed my mind on height

It took me a couple of attempts to decide how low I wanted it above the table, so fitting took a little longer than planned. That was purely personal preference though, and the pendant itself looks excellent.

A nice alternative to Scandinavian basics

I wanted natural wood but didn’t want another plain dome or cone pendant. This has a much more unusual profile while still keeping the simple, warm look I was after.

The lighter finish feels wonderfully calm

The natural wood version has a gentle, understated look that works beautifully in our bedroom. It adds texture to the ceiling without introducing anything too dark or visually busy.
