Zubopim Murano Glass Chandeliers

I love the way the individual pieces flare out at the edges. That shape gives the chandelier a softer, more organic quality than straight glass rods or crystal drops would have done.

This chandelier feels almost like a cascade of sculpted glass rather than a conventional light fitting. Each fluted piece catches the glow differently, so the whole fixture looks wonderfully dimensional in the evening.

We installed this in a stairwell where smaller lights simply disappeared. The tiered Murano-style glass fills the vertical space beautifully and gives the area the sense of scale it was missing.

During the day the layered clear glass still catches natural light and creates subtle reflections. It feels decorative enough to work as a hanging sculpture in its own right.

There’s so much depth from top to bottom, yet the pale glass keeps the whole piece from becoming visually heavy. It has real drama without making the room feel dark or crowded.

I wanted something luxurious but didn’t want a sharp, glittering crystal chandelier. The curved glass pieces give this a gentler kind of sparkle that feels much warmer and more elegant.

The layered glass overlaps differently depending on where you stand, which keeps the chandelier interesting in an open-plan room. From the side, you really appreciate how much volume the tiers create.

We had a very plain pendant before and the room always felt slightly unfinished. This immediately became the focal point and gave the entire dining area a far more polished, considered feel.

Once lit, the individual glass pieces become warmer and almost luminous around their edges. It creates a much more atmospheric effect than I expected from clear glass.

I wasn’t sure whether a chandelier this decorative would feel too formal, but the pale glass keeps it surprisingly light. It adds luxury without making the room feel stiff or old-fashioned.

Looking up from beneath, you can see how the tiers narrow and overlap towards the centre. That view gives the chandelier a lovely sense of movement and makes the structure feel very carefully composed.

That was exactly what I wanted. The glass still reflects and multiplies the light, but the sculpted shapes make the chandelier feel more artistic and less formal than classic crystal drops.

This is easily the most commented-on fitting in the house. People tend to notice the unusual flared glass pieces first and then start looking at the different layers and reflections.

There are a lot of individual elements, so we spent some extra time making sure everything sat evenly after installation. Once arranged, the chandelier looked fantastic, so that small setup effort is my only reason for four stars.

The combination of layered glass, soft illumination and the cascading shape gives this real presence without relying on bold colour. It feels elegant, luminous and much more memorable than an ordinary chandelier.
